What is Saj?
Saj Bread originated in the Eastern Mediterranean region. It is baked on a domed or flat Griddle, know as a Saj. In the old days, the Saj was heated over a wood fire. Today, we use a round griddle that is electric but produces a finer quality bread. Our dough is flattened by tossing it between the hands and placing it over a Kara (pillow) and then applied to the Saj grill by slamming it down. It is then baked to perfection and set aside to cool.. It is then baked on the Saj.

At Saj Mediterranean Grill, you can eat a lunch or dinner for as low as $5.99 with the most expensive menu item selling for $11.99.

Does Saj Mediterranean Grill offer alternatives for vegetarians or gluten free menu options?
Saj Mediterranean Grill offers many different menu options for vegans and vegetarians. And all but five items (Pita and Saj® Bread, Baked Pita Chips, Tabouli and Baklava) on our menu are gluten free.

Why is Saj Mediterranean Grill so healthy for me?
We take tremendous pride in offering a vast array of healthy menu items, leaving out trans fat, artificial preservatives, artificial flavorings, fattening oils and harmful antibiotics. Our hours of operation are Mon - Sat from 11:00am - 9:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am - 8:00pm

Does Saj Mediterranean Grill have menu options for children
Saj Mediterranean Grill has a Kid Friendly Menu with three options tailored precisely for the young ones. We have Cheese Mana-keesh which utilizes Mozzarella and Feta cheese folded into a Saj® Bread and baked on the Saj grill. We also have a Half Pita Sandwich and a Rice Bowl that can be topped with your child's choice of Beef or Chicken.

What types of payment are acceptable at Saj Mediterranean Grill?
Saj Mediterranean Grill accepts all major credit cards and cash. We do not accept checks in any capacity, though.
